  • John 1:23 ἔφη: ἐγὼ φωνὴ βοῶντος ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ: εὐθύνατε τὴν ὁδὸν κυρίου, καθὼς εἶπεν Ἡσαί̈ας ὁ προφήτης.

Notes: Here, the word takes on the genitive singular form and is a masculine gender.
